Sunray Power designed, supplied and installed a containerized, battery based, grid tied solar system for the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).

The system comprises of 3 x 10kVA Victron Quattro Inverters, 15 x UP5000 Pylontech Lithium batteries, 72 x 455W solar panels, arranged in an East – West array and connected through a 36kW Solis Grid Tied Inverter.

The system provides solar power and backup to their main campus in Lusaka. It incorporates comprehensive online monitoring and was designed from day one to allow further expansion in the future.
